Aaron Meyer and Bill Lamb
Concert Rock Violinist Aaron Meyer & multi-instrumentalist Bill Lamb have successfully bridged the worlds of classical and popular music, performing a unique blend of the two that has now become the Grammy recognized category Classical Crossover.
Meyer has performed with orchestras and ballet companies as well as artists such as Smokey Robinson, Aaron Neville, Miss America, and the group Everclear. Meyer has released four albums in collaboration with producer and composer Bill Lamb. In November, 2004 Meyer, Lamb and their 8 piece band will perform a 90-minute concert of originally composed music with the Oregon Symphony at the Arlene Schnitzer Concert Hall.
Though he has performed in concert halls around the world, Meyer’s energetic music has won him appearances where most violinists would not have the chance to play, venues like two World Peace Conferences (The Hague and NYC), a special performance for His Holiness The Dalai Lama, and the 1999 NBA Western Conference Finals.
