Irv Karl was born in Brooklyn, N.Y. He attended the University of Arizona, and graduated with a BS from the School of Business. Irv practiced as a CPA before joining Kaye Smith Enterprise in 1972 thru 1995 where he was President and COO. Kaye Smith was engaged in radio broadcasting, concert promotion; radio broadcast syndication, direct marketing and printing, real estate development and management. In 1978 Irv also formed Karl and Associates which provides personal wealth management for business and high net worth individuals.
Community Involvement:
Irv has been an active participant in Seattle Communal organizations. In addition to the board of Temple De Hirsch Sinai he serves on the board of The Kline Galland Center and the Seattle Multiple Sclerosis Hub Properties Board. He is President of the board of Children's Music Fund, a non profit organization providing funds to Children's Hospitals. He also served on the boards of Junior Achievement of Seattle, Mentor for Seattle University Graduate School of Business, and the Seattle Jewish Federation. Irv is a Past President of B'nai B'rith Hillel at the University of Washington and The Jewish Family Service.
